JCC, as part of the Qatar Foundation’s Vision and Mission, is committed to positively impact the lives of Arab Children through promoting self esteem, understanding and freedom.

It is committed to delivering the highest standards in the provision of its children’s programmes and in so doing we seek to balance our articulation of information with our responsibilities, for example, to respect privacy and to protect the children we serve and represent.

Our goal is to build an original, unique and innovative Pan-Arabic TV channel, in order to bridge the gap between Arab children cross the world and to reaffirm their social and cultural identities.

JCC and Baraem

JCC broadcasts two free-to-air television channels :

Baraem - for pre-school children under the age of 6,
JCC - for an older age group of 6 to 15 years.

Both channels are free to view in over 22 Arab countries and Europe via Arabsat, Nilesat and Hotbird. JCC is also available via Eurobird.

The tone of JCC and Baraem is energetic, upbeat and fun. To stand out from the ever growing multitude of channels, JCC has a focus to build on our initial success with more great content, so that more and more of our target audience love, value and talk about JCC and continue to engage with it.
